Our Focus:
Sponsorship
Beacon of Hope (BoH) runs a sponsorship program targeting highly vulnerable families in the community and offers: school fees support for Primary and Secondary school as well as Tertiary / University education. Further there is the provision of scholastic materials; provision of dignity re-usable sanitary towels, school uniforms, mentorship and career guidance.
OVC Program
Through intensive needs assessment, BOH enrolls OVC households into the program and provides services based on need. Family- centered approach where the child is the entry point.
Adopt a Family
Highly vulnerable households are enrolled in a one-year program before being graduated. BOH makes provision for basic needs such as: linkage for food support, provision of clothing & beddings, shelter and health care support.
Upon graduation, the household is provided with start-up capital/ kit/capital to sustainably provide for their families.
Economic Strengthening
BOH is passionate to see that households are economically empowered and are able to meet their needs sustainably.
