How To Help
Beacon of Hope was established in 2002 to respond to the HIV/AIDS pandemic among women in poor communities and started its work in Ongata Rongai in the southern outskirts of Nairobi.
Driven By Our Call
To initiate and establish tangible, indigenous and sustainable interventions to address the needs of vulnerable individuals, families and communities.
Mission
to bring hope and catalyze sustainable transformation by uplifting the spiritual, physical, economic and social well-being of vulnerable individuals, families and communities.

Since inception BOH has impacted nearly 1 million lives of women, children and youth directly and indirectly through health, education and social economic empowerment.

There are still thousands of vulnerable people in the communities we serve who are having a hard time coping with the aftermath of COVID-19. Our targeted response is supporting the vulnerable communities we serve to not only survive this crisis but come through it stronger and more resilient.

“[Lord] You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat.”
Isaiah 25:4
