Vocational Training Expands
The kikoy department expands. Additional space is rented for weavers at ISALU center in Rongai. Vocational students are introduced to basic business management to build sufficient capital for private business upon graduation.

Vocational Training Begins
Sewing is added to the vocational training repertoire. Our first HIV support group is launched in tandem with home-based care training. Fundraising for new property continues.

Weaving And Children’s Feeding Program
Founder and Executive Director Jane Wathome begins work in kware slums visiting the sick (HIV /AIDS affected and infected) and vulnerable in their homes then identifies the need to set up a centre. BOH takes up residence in Mongo house center Ongata Rongai Kenya and sets up vocational training in carpet weaving and children feeding program.
