Vocational training is provided in carpet and kikoy weaving, spinning, tailoring & dressmaking, Screen printing, card making, beadwork & Jewellery as well as basketry. Many of the women have never earned a regular income, thus after the training at BOH they get some income by selling the products. Three huge workshops known as House of Bezalel have been built to accommodate at least 300 women and some men in training and production each day. Eventually, the women will become self-sustaining and thus economically empowered. So far over 600 women and men have been trained. Several have been assisted by Beacon to establish community workshops where they weave from and market their products through the BOH shop.

As a way of making the BOH income generating activities self sustaining BOH has opened a Beacon Charity Shoppe at Prestige plaza along Ngong Road (Nairobi) to act as a marketing outlet for her many products. BOH has partner Churches in the USA and various fair trade organizations who assist in selling of our products.BOH is also a registered member of COFTA(Cooperation of fair trade Association in Africa. Some of the Income Generating Activities include tailoring, basketry and kikoy making.
